This is actually the cover of the upcoming Jack Vance tribute anthology Songs of the Dying Earth. Just look at those contributors, quite a list of names.
It’s been a long time since I’ve read the Dying Earth books (in fact, I think they were some of the first books I read when I started buying books in college instead of using the library so I could switch from translations to the original publications) I think I might dive into them again in preparation for this one.
And now someone please put together a Fritz Lieber tribute anthology!
